Zealandia

In 2032, a pandemic has killed most of the world’s population. Zealandia is the last territory to remain virus free. Everything arriving from the outside world is submitted to intensive biosecurity checking, including humans. Refugees flock to there hoping for a better life - if they can get past the oppressive border controls.

Eva, is heading back home along with a group of refugees. All personal possessions are forced to be left behind on arrival for destruction. Before handing her bag over, Eva manages to set off an ominous timer concealed inside.

Meanwhile, outside the compound, Jack, and his son approach a security fence.

As Eva clears the health and border controls, the system reveals that she is carrying a forged ID chip implanted in her index finger. She escapes as the security androids give chase. Eva frantically searches for her bag, saving it as it is about to be destroyed by fire.

She manages to exit the compound with the androids closing in. As she approaches the security fence, Jack sets off an EMP, deactivating the fence and the Androids.

Finally reunited, Eva opens her bag, revealing what she was really smuggling into Zealandia.
