Tomo Mai (The NZFC Application Portal) is open as at 1 August for Feature Film Production Investment (FFPI), Advanced Development (ADF) and International Co-Development Fund (ICF) funding applications. The corresponding guidelines have been updated to reflect our Statement of Intent 2024-25 and Statement of Performance Expectation 2024-28.
A review of our Terms of Trade (TOT) is underway and, following industry consultation later this year, updated TOT and further changes to these guidelines will be added.
The portal and updated guidelines will be available on 1 September for Early Development Funding (EDF) and Documentary Development Funding (DDF) applications.
Below is a summary of Funds and relevant dates:
- Tuakana/ Teina Funding: Open 1 August and is a rolling fund.
- Advanced Development: Open 1 August and is a rolling fund.
- International Co-Development Fund: Open 1 August and is a rolling fund.
- Feature Film Production Investment: Open 1 August – Closes 1pm on 19 August to be considered at the 16/17 October Board Meeting.
- Early Development Fund: Open 1 September – Closes 1pm 23 September.
- Documentary Development Fund: Open 1 September – Closes 1pm 23 September.
- He Pounamu Te Reo Māori Feature Film Initiative: To register interest email rautaki@nzfilm.co.nz.
