As part of our ongoing commitment to He Ara Whakaurunga Kanorau | Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, the New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC) is proud to announce the launch of a survey aimed at capturing insights from across the Aotearoa screen industry on matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
This survey helps us understand the lived experiences of our industry and has a strong focus on qualitative data. By sharing your experiences, you’ll help shape the future of our screen sector and contribute to creating a more inclusive environment for everyone.
Building on our 2019 Gender, Diversity, and Inclusion survey, this research will continue to provide valuable insights that inform key initiatives in our D&I Strategy. It will also play a vital role in discussions both within the NZFC and with our stakeholders.
The survey is conducted by an independent company, ensuring complete anonymity. All responses will be aggregated, with no identifying information published. Results may be shared in a report available on our website.
This survey is open to all people who work in the Aotearoa film and screen industry. No matter your background, identity, community, role or experience in the industry – we want to hear from you.
The survey will be open for three weeks and closes on Wednesday 6 November at 5pm.
